CCA Fiesta (Formerly known as "CCA Drive") - 23 to 25 April 2008 (Wed-Fri)

The timing of the event will be 11am-6pm for the three days. Please ensure that you have members manning the booths, with at least 2 personnel during the peak hours of 11-2pm. If your booth is left unmanned, demerit points will be given. Sports teams, in the past, the CCA Fiesta is meant only for clubs, but now we managed to secure some booths for your teams, so please make full use of it and make sure it's well done, including keeping it manned during the operating hours.
I'd need you to make an indication on whether you need power outlets to connect your notebooks so that you can showcase your club's activities. Do think through carefully about the decoration for your booth because Principal is VERY particular about CCA. If you leave a good impression on him, I am sure he'd remember your club favourably. Oh, and you must be dressed in uniform, such as club tee-shirt or jersey. A meeting will be called by the CCA Section of SAA to brief the clubs on what to do for the CCA Fiesta).Sports teams: Please indicate whether your team would like to set up a booth.

Hi to all trackers.... On the next sunday morning the Clarke Quay 20 comm will need Ur to run the route we set to roughly gauge if it is possible to reach the distance we set within the time given. So to all trackers who is free on next sunday morning 9am (2/3/07) please make ur way down to Clarke Quay. If ur not there after 20mins we will commence the recce.

The United World Colleage is having an event this coming Sat 16th of Feb at Singapore Poly Stadium. The event will be starting at 2pm. For those who wish to take part in e event pls come 1hr early to register over there. I and some of under Coach Paul grp will be meeting at e stadium at 12pm to register so those wish to join can meet us there... Free admission but no prize.. hehe.. So see u all there....

To all holders of the track house keys and locker can your please pass ur keys to Alvin latest by the end of next week as we want to pass them down to the new committee members and so as to let everyone know who has the keys in the next meeting.

Selection Of 'Clarke Quay 20' canvasssing and sponsorship IC

Hey Trackers, as some of ur already know track and field is helping out in the upcoming 'Clarke Quay 20' committee... So track and field is sorta in charge of 2 parts, one is programmes and routing and the other is canvasssing and sponsorship. For canvasssing and sponsorship they require an IC which i'll automatically select (but to who i will not disclose), unless anyone calls me by saturday night to take this post. I hope to seek the cooperation and help of all trackers as this is one big event which requires alot of manpower and planning.

And one more Thing... Wishing everyone a HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR!!!

Hi all,

For your info, on e 16th of Feb (Sat) UWC - United World Colleage is organising an event in Singapore Poly Stadium. They are having all sort of events from Short D, Mid D, Long D and field events... No prize is given but they having this event as time trial. So those who want to check whether who can break their PB or race with other country athletics are encourage to sign up and is free admission too. Jansen here... wondering if any of ur interested in goin for lifesaving 1,2,3 it's sorta like another step to like lifeguard... the thing is 200 bucks but u get it in 2 and a half months. so wondering if ur like to go. Successful Outing

Hi all...

Realli glad that u all take up the time to come down for the yr 3's farewell outing. i'm realli happy that the outing is a success but the weather has also made our game to be on hold and that was sad but we do enjoy some games b4 the rain starts and it was very enjoyable... So it will be a great memories for them after they graduated from Poly Life.... So i would like to wish them all the best n take care too... come back often too if possible..... :) the photos will be loading up asap so that u ppl can load into yr computer or print out as hard copy too.... Ultimate Athlete workshop‏

Hi all,
There'd be a workshop for SP athletes to be held on 20 Feb 2008 (Wed). The topics covered would include Sports Nutrition, Sports Psychology and Strength & Conditioning. The workshop would be conducted by professionals who are specialists in their field, including the head of Singapore Sports Council's Head of Strength and Conditioning.

The details are as follows:

Time: 8.30am-4.30pm
Venue: SP
Cost: $15 per person
